Pastor

Pastor Caroline Bashore, who recently started with us, received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Psychology from Penn State, Berks Campus in 2018, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She then attended Lancaster Theological Seminary and graduated with her Masters in Divinity in May 2023 and was awarded the Nevin R. Frantz Prize In Rural Church Ministry. Pastor Caroline recently moved to the Royersford area, bringing with her, her two cats, Toby and Layla. Other than being a cat person, Caroline enjoys reading, baking, crocheting, watching and playing tennis (pickle ball will do), spending time with her family, and looking forward to getting involved in the community through various organizations. 

Secretary

Darlene Canning (she/hers) is our secretary. Darlene first joined the staff in 2001 and has managed the day-to-day operations ever since. She also works part-time for East Vincent UCC and the Gap, Inc. Darlene is a member of First UCC and originally from Royersford. Today, she lives in Douglassville with her husband, Bill. They have two grown children and will soon become grandparents!

Organist

Carol Hanebury (she/hers) is our organist. She is a lifetime member of First UCC and became our organist in 2014. She and her husband Bill live in Royersford.
